I came up with this dish for my growing son.

If you would like a thinner flavor, decrease the tianmianjiang to 2 tablespoons and the soy sauce to 1 teaspoon.
Don't cook the Spring cabbage for too long.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 280 gramsThinly sliced pork shoulder
  2. 1/4 headSpring cabbage
  3. 3 tbspTianmianjiang
  4. 1 tspDoubanjiang
  5. 1 cloveGarlic (minced)
  6. 1/2knob Ginger (minced)
  7. 1 tbsp★Sake
  8. 2 tsp★Soy sauce
  9. 1 tsp★Oyster sauce
  10. 1/2 tsp★Chinese soup stock
  11. 1/2 tsp★Katakuriko
  12. 1Vegetable oil
  13. 1Sesame oil

Cooking Instructions

    Roughly chop the cabbage. Briefly parboil the meat and then drain in a colander. Combine the ★ ingredients.

    Heat up some oil in a wok and cook the ginger and garlic until fragrant. Add the doubanjiang and tianmianjiang and cook while mixing well with the oil.

    Add the meat and cook while coating with the sauce from Step 2. Add the cabbage and once it becomes tender, stir in the ★ ingredients quickly. Lastly, swirl in some sesame oil.
