Rice Ball with Curry and Cheese

When I ate leftover fukujin-zuke over rice, it actually tasted good. That's how I came up with adding curry powder to make this onigiri.

Adjust the amount of curry powder to your liking, between 1/2 to 1 teaspoon.
To avoid sticking, damp your knife when cutting the cheese. Recipe by Ruruoka

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1bowlful Plain cooked rice
  2. 1/2to 1 teaspoon Curry powder
  3. 1 tbsp■ Fukujin-zuke (pickled vegetable medley)
  4. 15 gramsCream cheese
  5. 1/2 tsp■ Parsley (fresh or dried)
  6. 1/2 tspExtra virgin olive oil
  7. 1 pinch■ Salt
  8. 1to 2 shakes ■ Black pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Mince the fukujin-zuke, and dice the cheese into 7mm cubes. Chop the parsley finely.

    Sprinkle a generous amount of curry powder to the rice. Add the ■ ingredients and mix briskly. Form the rice balls.
