Ingredients

  1. 4Potatoes boiled, peeled and cubed medium
  2. 1 cupgreen peas
  3. 1onion chopped
  4. 2 teaspoonsginger-garlic paste
  5. 2 tablespoonoil
  6. as per tasteSalt
  7. 2 tablespoonswater
  8. 1 pinchasafetida
  9. 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  10. 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  11. 1/2 teaspoondried mango powder (amchoor powder)
  12. 1green chilies, chopped
  13. 1/4 teaspoonturmeric powder
  14. 1 teaspooncumin powder
  15. 1 tablespooncoriander powder
  16. 1 teaspoonred chili powder

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and asafetida.
    When the seeds to splutter, add chopped onion and saute for 3 minutes.Add crushed ginger-garlic and saute for 2 minutes.Now add green peas, salt and let it cook for 3 minutes.

    Add cubed potatoes along with coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, dried mango powder, and mix well.Add 2 tbsp water, and mix well. Cook on medium heat for 3-4 more minutes.(Keep stirring occasionally).Now Potato Peas Stir Fry/Aloo Matar Dry sbji is ready. Serve hot with any bread of your choice.
