Lentil and tomato curry, Indian style Lentil and tomato curry, Indian style
Recently summoned the courage to experiment with Indian spices and was pleased that the results were pretty tasty. I didn't strictly measure ingredients, sorry, so these are my best estimates (YMMV). Very easy to make, too, which is a huge plus. I served it with an improvised mixed raita of Greek yogurt, green onions, tomato, and mint, plus a frozen paratha that I revived in butter. Jon -

Japanese-Style Daikon Radish Curry Japanese-Style Daikon Radish Curry
I have a friend who makes curry with grated daikon radish. I created my own radish daikon curry recipe based on hers. This dish tastes better if left in the pot for at least half a day so that the daikon radish completely absorbs the flavor of curry. Adjust the amount of water depending on the type of curry roux used or the cooking time.If you don't have daikon radish leaves, you can use green onions instead. Recipe by ma2003co cookpad.japan -

A Little Spicy! Onion and Daikon Radish Curry Soup A Little Spicy! Onion and Daikon Radish Curry Soup
I made curry soup, which I've been wanting to try for a while with lots of daikon radish.(In the photo the daikon radish have sunk to the bottom... but there's a lot in there!)I think it should be nice with daikon radish leaves or spinach too.If you add 3 teaspoons of curry powder, the soup will be quite spicy, so if you have small children, it might be better to add just 1.5 to 2 teaspoons.Try using ground pork (about 100 g) instead of wiener sausages for a more curry-like soup. For 5 servings. Recipe by KaHoM cookpad.japan -
