Soak the bulgur in 2 cups of water until it absorbs all the liquid.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling: In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion and garlic until golden. Add the ground beef and cook, stirring, until browned. Add the spices and stir. Remove from heat and mix in the chopped walnuts. The filling is now ready.

Return to the bulgur. Add the spices and semolina, then knead the mixture very well until you get a firm dough. If needed, wet your fingers and knead until smooth.

To shape, take a piece of the bulgur mixture, place a teaspoon of filling inside, and shape into the traditional kibbeh form.

Fry in plenty of hot oil, no more than 4 pieces at a time to keep the oil hot and prevent them from falling apart.

Fry until they turn a beautiful golden color. Enjoy!
