Ingredients

4 peoples
  • 750 gramschicken cut into large pieces
  • 4medium sized potatoes into cut 2 pieces
  • 2large onions cut into slices
  • 1 tablespoonginger paste
  • 1 tablespoongarlic paste
  • 1large tomato paste
  • 4 tablespoonsmustard oil
  • 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoonKashmiri chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoonchilli powder
  • as per tasteSalt
  • 1/2 teaspoonsugar
  • 1/4 teaspoonhot spice powder/garam masala powder
  • As per neededWater

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pan, add mustard oil and sugar. Once the sugar is melted, lightly brown with sliced onion and Kashmiri chilli powder and fry in it.

  2. 2

    Remove the oil from the spices, mix well with the chicken pieces and cover with the lid medium heat for 20 minutes.

  3. 3

    When chicken and potato are half boiled, hot water should be given.

  4. 4

    Once the potatoes and chicken are boiled in the broth, spread hot spice powder and serve hot with rice
