Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

Wash throughly the sweet potatoes as it has a lot of mud in it. Once it's neat and clean than peel it off and cut it in half. Take big size sweet potatoes for the best result. Then take those halves and cut them half longitudinally by this we will get 4 part from one sweet potato. Now take one half and cut it into half inch thick longitudinal piece. Make 3 flat pieces from one cut by this we will get 12 pieces from 1 sweet potato.

  2. 2

Now place 3-4 flat pieces one upon another and then cut them into half inch longitudinal slices just like fingers or french fries. Like so cut all the sweet potatoes in french fries shape. Make sure to completely dry it with a muslin cloth or kitchen towel if there is any water in it. Then add a tbsp of vegetable oil to it and mix very well. Now preheat the airfryer on french fries mode at 180°C for 5 minutes then grease the basof it with oil and place all the french fries in it.

  3. 3

And cook it for 10 minutes on 180°C in the french fries mode taking it out after 5 minutes then tossing it and again cooking it for 5 minutes. Mean while let's prepare the spicy masala for that simply in a bowl add all the ingredients of spicy masala mentioned above in the ingredient list and mix it very well and the spice mix it ready. You can add any masala of your choice or you can make it without masala also. Now after 10 minutes transfer the french fries on a platter.

Then add all the spice mix to it and mix it very well. Then add 1 tbsp vegetable oil to kind of helping to coat the masala on the french fries. Now keep all of them in the airfryer basket and cook it on the same mode and same temprature for 10 more minutes flipping and tossing it in 5 minutes intervals. While the french fries are cooking let's prepare the cheesy dip for that in a pan heat up the butter. Once melt add the all-purpose flour to it and cook till the rawness goes then add the milk.

  5. 5

Followed by salt and black pepper powder and allow it to boil then add the cheddar cheese and mix it until well combined. Now add the chilli flakes and boil it stirring continuously. Don't make it too thick it will get thicker as it will cool down. Transfer it into a bowl and it's ready to serve. You can store this dip for a week in an air tight container in the refrigerator. The sweet potato french fries are also ready. Serve it hot with this creamy cheesy dip or any dip of your choice.

You can also store the french fries when it's coated with spice mix and oil. Make sure to completely cool it down then put it in a zip lock bag or box and keep it in the freezer or deep freezer and it will go well for about a month. You can even make potato french fries with the same recipe.
Make it and enjoy it with your loved ones.
