After making this dish, I promised myself to buy a good cast iron skillet for next time so I can make it even better.
This came about after eating porridge for four meals in a row and suddenly craving something different. I had three leftover pieces of steak from lunch, so I marinated them, grabbed whatever else I had in the fridge, and tossed it all in.
That’s how I ended up with this delicious sizzling beef skillet.

This came about after eating porridge for four meals in a row and suddenly craving something different. I had three leftover pieces of steak from lunch, so I marinated them, grabbed whatever else I had in the fridge, and tossed it all in.
That’s how I ended up with this delicious sizzling beef skillet.

Marinate the beef with the seasonings listed above and let it sit for a while.

While the beef is marinating, prepare the salad. (You can use your favorite salad recipe.)

Chop the onion. Heat a skillet on the stove, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, and wait until hot. Crack in 3 eggs. Add the beef and sausage, and turn the heat to high.
Mix 2 tablespoons of water into the leftover beef marinade, swirl to combine, and pour it into the skillet.
Cut the pâté and add it to the pan along with the onion.
Sprinkle a little black pepper on top. Since the beef was already cooked rare for steak, avoid flipping it too much to keep it tender. - 4
Slice the baguette and toast for 2 minutes until crispy. Serve with the salad.
This sizzling beef skillet is quick to make and very satisfying. This amount is perfect for two people.
