Ingredients

  • 3milk cup basmati rice
  • Pepper and tomato paste
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Onion
  • Vegetable oil
  • cubeSeasoning
  • Salt
  • leafBay
  • Jollof spice

Steps

50 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash and boil rice till half cooked. Drain and rinse. Set aside in a colander

  2. 2

    Put vegetable oil in a pot. Set on heat. Add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste. Saute.
    Add pepper and tomato paste then stir fry.

  3. 3

    Season with seasoning cube, jollof spice and salt to taste.

  4. 4

    Add in your half cooked rice, stir then add enough water or stock to cook the rice.
    Add in your bayleaf. Cover pot tightly. Bring to a boil then lower the flame and allow to simmer on low heat till all liquid is absorbed.

  5. 5

    Fluff your rice with a fork. Serve and enjoy.
