Cut up the onions in slices and potatoes as you like.

Heat the oil and add fenugreek seeds. Take out when seeds are fully burnt.

Add the onions and fry until soft and slightly golden.

Add the pastes and cover for a minute. Add salt, peppers, cumin.
- 5
After a minute, add the potatoes. For 3 minutes, fry without breaking the potatoes.

Add water and cover the pan for 20 minutes or until soft with the occasional stirring.
