Tonight’s dinner, using part of a huge marrow given to us by @stefanedwards and inspired no doubt by @matt’s many pasta and cream recipes.

Bring a pot of water to the boil and cook the spaghetti.

Whilst the spaghetti is cooking, make the sauce. Chop the onion and garlic. Finely slice the courgette/marrow.

Add oil to the pan, get it hot and add the garlic, onion and courgette.

Cook on a medium heat until courgette and onion soften and start to brown. Stir through the frozen peas and cook for another minute or so. Season well with salt and pepper.

Pour in the wine and cook until reduced by half.

Pour in the cream and mix well. Reduce the heat and cook for another 4-5 minutes.

Drain the cooked spaghetti and stir through the sauce in the pan making sure it’s evenly coated. Serve with a generous helping of black pepper.
