Ingredients

30-40 minutes
3 serves
  • 1 cupSoaked White Chickpeas
  • 2 big tomatoes puree
  • 1 big onion puree
  • 1/2 inchginger
  • 1green chilli paste
  • 2-4garlic cloves
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 tspKasuri methi
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala
  • 1/2Lemon juice
  • HandfulFinely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1Bay leaf
  • 1Red Dry Chilli
  • 2 cupsAll-purpose flour
  • 2 tbspSuji
  • 2 tbspoil
  • As RequiredOil to dip fry

Steps

30-40 minutes
  1. 1

    Soak the Chickpeas overnight
    Now boil the Chickpeas and give at least 5-7 whistle

    Make the Tomato and onion puree

  3. 3

    Take the kadhai and now add oil and Cumin seeds, bay leaf, and red dry chilli, first saute onion puree add green chili, ginger, and garlic paste and saute for 2-3 minutes now add tomato puree and salt and saute 2-3 add all the spices to them and mix them well and keep them stirring till the oil releases from the gravy and now pour the boiled Chickpeas and mix them well and boil them for around 5-8 minutes add 1/4 glass of water and let everything boil nicely.

    Now add lemon juice, Kasuri methi, and coriander leaves to the Chole.

    For Bhature
    Take 2cup All-purpose flour 2tsp Suji, Salt, 2tbsp oil and bind semi-soft dough and rest for 15-20mins

  6. 6

    Now make the Bhature by rolling medium thick poori and dip fry them.

  7. 7

    Serve them hot and enjoy the yummy dish in your meals, and lunch boxes 😋
