Rice and beans is a very popular and well known recipe in Nigeria. It is easy to cook and very tasty. What if I add something new like moringa leaves to it, how will it taste? Only one way to find out. let's check it out.

Wash your beans and add in a pot of boiling water. allow it to cook for 30-35 mins.

After it is cooked to your satisfaction add your washed rice and stir.

Parboil and sieve in a colander

After it is sieved, put it back on the pot and add one and half cup of boiled water to it.

Wash your moringa leaves and add at top of the rice before covering it.(as shown in the pic below)

When your food is done bring down your pot and remove the cooked moringa leaves and set aside

Serve your food put some vegetable oil to it. add your sliced egg and Onion.you can also put your moringa leaves by the side, pepper and a seasoning cube.

Serve with a cold and chilled drink
