Steps

Marinade prawns with turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt and keep fir 30 mins.

Keep a pan, add 5tbs oil, add crushed onion, tomato, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste and stir until soft

Add cumin powder, coriander powder, prawns and potato, stir gently in medium flame until oil comes out

Add tamarind paste, stir and add 2cups of water, cover and simmer until potato done well
- 5
Add knob of butter, and sprinkle more curry leaves, slotted chilli and serve hot with plain rice
