Rasgulla Bengali Sweet Made in a Pressure Cooker
Steps
- 1
Pour the milk into a pot and heat it on the stove.
- 2
Dissolve the acetic acid in water.
- 3
Before the milk boils, gradually add the acidified water to the milk. Once the milk curdles, stop adding the acidified water.
- 4
Strain the curdled milk through a thin cloth. Once all the water has drained, transfer the chenna (curds) to a plate and mash it well.
- 5
In a pressure cooker, add sugar to taste and water to make a thin syrup.
- 6
Shape the mashed chenna into lemon-sized balls, then add them to the boiling syrup in the pressure cooker and cook until done.
