Green Gram Modak

Fresh green gram/ jinjra / popta or choliya, whatever we say it, are full of protein & available in winters. They can be consumed raw, roasted or in any cooked form.
Here I have made a modak for Ganu dada.

Fresh green gram/ jinjra / popta or choliya, whatever we say it, are full of protein & available in winters. They can be consumed raw, roasted or in any cooked form.

Steps

Grind green grams.
Heat 1 tsp ghee in a nonstick pan, saute grinded gram for a while then add milk & let grinded gram cook in it on slow flame, stirring occasionally. - 2
Furrher add sugar and cook for while now it will become a lump-like mass & leaves the sides of the vessel.

Lastly, add cardamom powder & ghee. Mix well & turn off the heat. Let it cool & in a greased modak mould, fill it & make modaks. You can make any other shape.
