Cooking Instructions

Heat ghee in a wok. Saute almonds for 1 minute in ghee. Now add cashew nuts and pistachio and saute for 1 more minutes. Add raisins and saute for 30 seconds. Remove all in a plate.

Soak saffron strands in lukewarm milk and keep aside.

Now add semolina in remaining ghee and roast on low flame till golden or till roasted semolina flavours starts coming.

Now add half of sugar and water and keep on stirring till the mixture becomes thick.

Now add remaining sugar, saffron strands dipped in milk and all fried dry fruits and keep on stirring till it gets thick and all water gets evaporated. Ashtami pujan halwa prasad is ready to serve.
