Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida and saute for a few seconds till it sizzles. Next, add the chopped onions and saute for a minute or two. Then add the chopped green chilies and curry leaves.

Saute till the onions are translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell leaves. Then add the chopped tomatoes and salt. Cook till the tomatoes are soft. Now add turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala powder. Saute for a minute or two.

Add the crumbled paneer and mix it well. Cook it for about 2-3 minutes. Switch off the flame.

Add the chopped coriander leaves.

Add the lemon juice.

Mix it well. Delicious paneer bhurji is ready to Serve.

Serve it hot with roti or paratha for lunch or dinner.
