Ingredients

3-4 servings
  1. 1 cupsevai (vermicelli noodles) (about 100 grams)
  2. 1/2 cupfinely chopped onion (about 75 grams)
  3. 1/2 cupfinely chopped tomato (about 75 grams)
  4. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  5. 1/2 teaspoonred chili powder
  6. Cilantro to taste
  7. 1/2 teaspoonmustard seeds
  8. 1/2 teaspooncumin seeds
  9. 1/2 teaspoonlemon juice
  10. 2-3 tablespoonsoil

  1. 1

    First, roast the sevai (vermicelli noodles). Heat oil in a pan, then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and chopped onions. Sauté until the onions are soft.

    Add tomatoes, salt, and red chili powder. Sauté, then add 1 cup water (about 240 ml).

    Add the roasted sevai. Cook until the water is absorbed, then mix in the lemon juice.

    Garnish the delicious sevai poha with cilantro and serve.
