Cooking Instructions

Heat ghee in a pan
Put almond paste & roast on medium
heat till it comes in light golden color
Till you roast almond paste; on another gas boil water with sugar & saffron
After roasting almond paste add boiling sugar saffron water - 2
Cook till all water evaporates & ghee separate
Now add pistachios, sliced almonds& nutmeg & mace powder
Switch off the gas - 3
Take in a serving bowl garnish with silver warq & sliced nuts as seen in picture

I was trying to think of something quick to make that my husband would be ok with eating and that wouldn't be to bad with his diet. This isn't exactly a great diet food but it filled him up with a smaller portion and it went well with the butter and herb rice. He is picky so I am lucky he even added onion in ! I came up with this , got the stuff to make it and he ended up cooking it. Now he loves it and so do the kids. Quick , easy dinner. Used light kielbasa and olive oil to help lighten it some.
