Manchurian fried rice

Wash and soak rice in water for 15-20 minutes. Cook with enough water as all grains remain separate.

For manchurian balls: In a mixing bowl take chopped cabbage, carrot, spring onion and green chilies garlic ginger paste. Add salt, black pepper powder, soya sauce, corn flour and all purpose flour. Combine all ingredients well.

Prepare equal size of small balls from it. Deep fry in hot oil until golden and crisp from outside. Keep aside.

In a pan heat oil. Add green chili garlic ginger paste and saute for sometimes. Add chopped spring onion and saute it. Add chopped cabbage, french beans, capsicum and carrot. Saute for 3-4 minutes.

Add salt, black pepper powder, soya sauce, vinegar and schezwan sauce. Mix well. Add cornflour slurry and approximately 1/4 cup water. Stir it and add prepared manchurian balls. Stir until water absorbs.

Add cooked rice and combine well. Add some chopped spring onion leaves. Tempting, spicy manchurian fried rice is ready to serve.
