First washed the chana dal and rice and soaked in water for 4-5 hours. Take a grinder jar add soaked dal, rice, ginger pieces, green chillies,salt and turmeric powder and grind it with little water, into a smooth paste. Keep aside.

Washed the onion flower stalks and cut into 2" pieces, take a toothpick, prick 4-5 pieces of stalks and make the bhela shape properly. Shown in fig.

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, take prepared stalks bhela and nicely coated with this chana dal mixture and drop carefully into the hot oil and fry them.

Fry on low heat until they becomes golden brown and crisp then take out in a tissue paper.

Onion Flower Stalks bhela bhaja is ready.
