Soak black chickpeas and kabuli chickpeas for at least 6hrs. Both are boiled separately in the pressure cooker to make them soft. Rinse hara chana with water. Since it is soft, therefore boiling is not required.

In a kadhai, add oil and switch on the burner to heat the oil. Add mustard seed, cumin seed and asafoetida. When the seeds start fluttering, add hara chana and mix well. Add all the spices, saute for 1min. Add little water so that the spices get well mixed with the hara chana. Switch off the burner, add amchur powder and garam masala powder and mix well. Collect in a bowl for serving.

Cook black chickpeas in a similar manner.

Also cook kabuli chickpeas.

Serve all three masala chickpeas in the same plate and decorate.
