Fennel salad is one of those treats I always forget to make for myself. It's light, refreshing, and crisp. Well one night I was craving something that would pair well with pork chops I was grilling and this recipe came to mind. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. =)

Fresh, crunchy salad with a slightly tangy dressing. One of my favorite easy salads to have with a side of pizza or something heavier.

I tweaked and combined a couple of recipes found online.

I made this because I received some organic fennel leaves.Use fresh turnips and mushrooms.You could mix it with some pre-prepared dressing later, but for this salad, I think it's best to mix it all together with the dressing in a bowl.
