Pressure cook the soaked Kabuli chana along with little salt for about 45 minutes.
Allow the pressure to release naturally. Chickpeas should feel very soft, that when you press it between your fingers it will mash easily. Keep it aside. - 2
Assemble the master masala for this great recipe. Saute in oil and grind it to paste

Heat oil in a large pan; add bay leaf, then the paste. Saute until the paste become soft and lightly brown. add chhole masale, red chilli powder, kasuri methi

Serve hot with poori, rice or kulcha.
