A Family Favorite: Pan Fried Miso Pork

This is my family's basic recipe. My children do not eat fried ginger pork, and it does not go well in bento, so I make this more.
Using cheap slide pork thigh as opposed to loin is sufficient. It has a nicer texture, so it is actually better to use sliced pork thigh.
This will become too salty if you add too much miso, so be careful. Adjust the amount according to the miso you have at home.
If you cook this through in 2 steps, then the remaining miso will darken the color of the meat, but don't let it bother you ;.
The miso might splatter when cooking, so be careful. For 2 servings. Recipe by Nonbirieririn

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mix all of the ● ingredients together.
- 2
Cut the pork into approximate sizes (pictured above is a bit less pork than the recipe calls for).
- 3
Let the pork marinate in the mixed flavoring ingredients for about an hour if you can. You can also rub it in by hand if you don't have time.
- 4
Lightly coat a frying pan with oil, and cook until golden brown. This looks better if you cook it flattened out as much as possible. Serve with shredded cabbage.

Tender Even When Cold! Spicy Pan Fried Pork with Miso Tender Even When Cold! Spicy Pan Fried Pork with Miso
Frying thinly sliced pork with ginger is the norm (but my family's ginger pork is not sweet), but in order to change things up, I added doubanjiang to fried sweet pork and miso.- By rubbing in the sake and sugar first, the meat will become tender rather than tough.- You can cut the meat into easy-to-eat pieces, or leave it as-is. Our Family's Simple Pan-Fried Pork with Ginger Our Family's Simple Pan-Fried Pork with Ginger
The flavor for pan-fried pork with ginger is different for each family. I wanted to post our unsweetened variation here as a record.-The bean sprouts will turn out crispy if you drain them well.-Enjoy the nice aroma of ginger with every bite you take. Fresh ginger has a better aroma, and it comes in handy if you wash and keep it stocked in the fridge. I recommend you set it aside for 2 to 3 minutes and bring it to room temperature before grating. I have made pork miso soup many times, and finally this recipe was created. To neutralise the porky smell, cook with minced ginger. Add the pork later to keep its tenderness and flavor.Do not boil too much once you add miso, or the nice miso aroma disappears. Adjust the amount of miso depending on its saltiness. Pan-Fried Bitter Melon and Pork with Miso Pan-Fried Bitter Melon and Pork with Miso
I thought of making a milder tasting dish with bitter melon.Boil the bitter melon in a pot for 30 seconds. Be careful not to over-cook it, because the color of bitter melon will fade out. If you like, you can sprinkle bonito flakes in the end which will make it even tastier. Reducing the amount of miso in half and adding Chinese sauces such as tian mian jiang (sweet bean sauce) or douchi (black bean garlic sauce) are very delicious alternatives! For 4 servings. Easy Pan-Fried Ginger Pork Easy Pan-Fried Ginger Pork
This is the pan fried pork with ginger that my mom used to cook for me, and I thought I could eat more lettuce in this way than eating it separately.Lettuce is easy to cook through so add it right before you eat. You can put in a lot of lettuce because even if you used 2 small heads of lettuce you would get surprised at how they wilt and soften up. I always buy a lot of lettuce when it's cheap.
