STRAWBERRY-BANANA SMOOTHIE

Strawberry-Banana Smoothie recipe is easy to make with 5 simple ingredients in less than 5 minutes, and always tastes so sweet and refreshing!

The smoothie is sweet and tangy without the added sweetener. Mother nature has given us plenty of sweetness in the strawberries and banana so there’s no need to add extra sugar. I usually drink without the sugar but add some for hubs. Feel free to add your choice of sweetener if you prefer it sweet.
Don’t use all frozen fruit as you’re likely to end up with a super thick texture more similar to frozen yogurt! Instead, use a combination of fresh and frozen.
Usually, smoothies do not have ice added as it waters it down. I add a handful of ice because my husband likes the crunchiness of the ice in his shakes and smoothies.
To make this Strawberry-Banana smoothie, add some yogurt, milk, frozen strawberries, banana, ice and sugar in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie seems too thick, add in a bit of extra milk. If it seems too thin, add in more strawberries or banana.) Garnish with some chopped/diced strawberry and banana.
You can get fancy with this smoothie and include chia seeds, collagen, hemp seeds and other fun ingredients. I prefer a
