Ingredients

30 minutes
  • 1 blocktempeh, thinly sliced
  • 1 2/3 cupsall-purpose flour (about 200 grams)
  • 1/3 cuptapioca flour (about 50 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  • 1/2 teaspoonchicken bouillon powder
  • Sliced green onions, to taste
  • 2 clovesgarlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoonground coriander
  • 1 3/4 cupswater (about 420 ml)

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients except the tempeh. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  2. 2

    Heat oil over medium heat, dip the tempeh into the batter, and fry until golden brown.

    Remove and serve.
