Baked Chicken Breast with Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Peel and wash the potatoes, cut them into quarters, and place them in a baking dish.

Finely chop the rosemary and set it aside in a bowl for a moment.

Finely chop the garlic and mix it with the rosemary. Add the ginger and salt, and mix everything well.

Take the whole chicken breast and place it on a cutting board. Sprinkle with the mixture you just made, rub it well over the entire breast, and set it aside for a moment.

Now place the whole chicken breast in the baking dish, add the potatoes, pour in a few cups of cold water, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for about half an hour.

After this time, open the oven and, using an oven mitt, take out the baking dish. Place it on the kitchen counter and turn the chicken breast over. Use a spoon to baste the chicken with its own juices.

Add the soy sauce and bake for about 15 more minutes.

In the last few minutes, turn on the broiler to brown nicely.

After this time, turn off the oven, take the baking dish out with an oven mitt, place it on the kitchen counter, and let it rest for a few minutes.

Take the chicken breast and place it on a cutting board. Use a knife to start slicing the breast.

Plate the slices of chicken with their juices, accompanied by the potatoes. Add salt and serve.
