Steps

First, boil 3 potatoes and smash them.

Now in a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil. add hing and stir. the flavour of hing should get mixed well.
Add rai, jeera, curry leaves, Ginger- garlic paste, chopped green chilli, Coriander seeds and ajwain and stir for 5 mins.
Now add salt, red chilli powder and haldi.
stir the spices for 5 mins and add those smashed potatoes into the cooked spices.
mix well and make into tikki shape as shown in image. - 3
Heat oil in a pan on a low flame for deep frying batata tikki
now in a vessel, put besan and add half cup water into it and whisk well.
Now add salt and again whisk and mix well. no lumps should form.
Oil is ready for deep frying and now dip those batata tikki into besan batter and deep fry them. take them out when becomes golden brown after deep frying. keep them aside. - 4
Now deep fry the remaining besan batter for besan chura. this is used for decoration as shown in in image.
You can sprinkle some oregano seasoning on besan chura.
Later you can use it for Dahi raita also if still lefts after having - 5
Now chop onion, tomato and into thin slices.
spread pizza sauce over the below layer of the burger bun. - 6
Keep sliced onion and tomato slices.
Sprinkle oregano seasoning over onion and tomato slices and then add chopped lettuce. set the lettuce properly. - 7
Now keep the deep fried batata vada over lettuce layer.
place cheese slices over it and keep the upper layer of burger bun - 8
Keep the upper layer of the burger buns and place 1 cherry each on the top of the burger.
now finally make besan chura border frame as shown in image.
Now serve, Desi Burger as snacks.
The besan chura can be used later for Dahi raita if not liking to have with Desi Burger.
