Proso millet khichdi

First of all wash the proso millet and green moong dal properly, soak it for 6 hours

Heat the oil in a cooker, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves asafoetida, dry red chilli stir it

Then add chopped carrot, capsicum, green peas

Add turmeric, Red chili powder, garam masala,salt and give it nice mix, put soaked proso millet and green moong dal

Pour hot water and mix it well,
Cover the lid and lock it, wait for 3 whistles on medium heat, then wait for 10 minutes open the cooker, proso millet masala khichadi is ready, sprinkle chopped green coriander - 6
Serve it with sabji, kadhi and udad dal roasted papad
