Take a Big bowl,add brown rice flour,salt mix well.

In that sprinkle some warm water, mix with hands like coarse mixture without lumps.

Keep the grated coconut ready.

Take a puttu mould apply oil, fill with brown mixture, topped with grated coconut in layers. Fill it up to the top of the mould,cover the lid, fix it on the puttu maker.keep it on slow flame.Steam it for ten minutes.

The steam begins to comes through the lid opening,it shows the puttu is cooked well. Gently remove the mould from puttu maker, remove the lid.

Take a ladle slowly push out the puttu,slide it to a serving plate.

Serve hot with kadalai curry.
