Aliv is available in all grocery shops.
First clean aliv seeds. Remove any dust particles.
In a mixing bowl add aliv seeds. Add coconut water. If coconut water is not sufficient add normal water. Soak aliv for 3-4 hours. Cover & keep aside. - 2
After 5 hours check aliv. They are swelled up & formed into a gel consistency. Now add jaggery, grated fresh coconut into soaked aliv.. Combine all coconut, jaggery, aliv & mix well. Let sit it aside for 10-15 min.

Heat thick bottom pan or kadhai. Add 1 tsp ghee. Then add aliv mixture into kadhai. Stir continuously so the jaggery will melt. Cook mixture on low flame. Cook for 20-25 min. Then add chopped almonds. Add nutmeg powder. Mix it well.When mixture turns little dry & sticky, turn the flame off.

Transfer aliv mixture into a bowl. Let it be cool or warm. Make ladoos with little small size than normal ladoo. It is recommend to eat only one ladoo per day as this ladoo is little heavy to digest.

Make all ladoo. They stay good for 6-7 days at room temperature & in freeze for 15 days. Consume daily one ladoo to boost immunity. It is advisable to nursing moms to add these ladoo in their diet.
