Ingredients

  1. Flank steak (small square or rectangle) mine was super thick and I was able to cut it in half and then cut strips against the grain
  2. 1/4 cupcorn starch
  3. 1 tspfresh ginger (minced)
  4. 1 tspfresh garlic (minced)
  5. 1/2 cupsoy sauce
  6. 1/2 cupwater
  7. 1/3 cupbrown sugar (packed)

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the flank steak into small strips. Cut against the grain. In a ziplock bag, pour the corn starch and then add the beef strips to the bag, seal and shake. Make sure to coat all the beef strips.

    Then place the beef strips into a crock pot and throw the ginger, garlic, soy sauce, water and brown sugar on top. Carefully mixing it together.

    Cook on high for 3 hours, mixing about halfway through.
    Serve over rice and steamed broccoli.
