A well-known appetizer in Lebanese cuisine, I didn't have time to garnish it, but it's already beautifully decorated with its colors.

Ingredients

  1. 1large bunch of parsley
  2. 1 handfulfresh mint leaves
  3. 1/2 bunchgreen onions (can be replaced with one regular onion, which is what I did)
  4. 2tomatoes
  5. 1large lemon
  6. 3 tablespoonsfine bulgur
  7. Salt
  8. Olive oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Clean and wash the vegetables. Finely chop the parsley, onions, and mint. Squeeze the lemon.

  2. 2

In a serving bowl, place the bulgur, then finely chop the tomatoes over it. Add the lemon juice and let the ingredients sit so the bulgur absorbs the flavors.

  3. 3

Add the chopped vegetables to the mixture, then season with salt and add olive oil. Mix all the ingredients until well combined, and it's ready to serve.

  4. 4

Serve with lettuce or cabbage leaves.
