Ingredients

20-25 minutes
4-5 servings
  1. 1.5 cupMilk powder
  2. 2 cupsmaida
  3. 1/4 cupghee
  4. 2 cupsmilk
  5. 1/2 cupsugar or to taste
  6. Chopped dry fruits to garnish
  7. 5-6 strandskesar
  8. 2crushed cardamom pods

Cooking Instructions

20-25 minutes
  1. 1

    First heat the ghee in a pan. Add milk. Let it simmer on low flame for a few minutes. Add kesar and crushed cardamom.

    Add milk powder. Stir and cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes. In another pan, roast maida with ghee till it gets aromatic and light brown. Add it to the milk mixture. Add sugar.Stir continuously and cook till it starts separating the sides of the pan. Add a little ghee if it's needed.

    Transfer this smooth mixture to a greased plate. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Cut into desired shapes. Garnish with chopped dry fruits. It's ready to be served.
