Clean and wash chana daal 3-4 times.

Soak for half an hour add sufficient water and cook in pressure cooker for 4-5 whistles till daal becomes tender.

Cool.Grind in food processor.

In a big karahi add this mixture and half kg sugar, powdered nutmeg and cardamom powder.Saute till mixture thickens and separate from karahi.

Our puran is ready to make puranpoli or eatby pouring ghee on it.
