Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cupgreen moong dal
  2. 1 tbspsaunf
  3. 1 tbspchopped ginger
  4. 3 tbspchopped carrot
  5. 1chopped green chilli
  6. 1 tbsplemon juice
  7. leavesSome coriander
  8. 1 tbspchaat masala
  9. 1/2 tspajwain
  10. Pinchturmeric
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. 2 cupjowar flour
  13. Ghee or oil as per required
  14. Water as per required

    Take a moong dal wash twice. And sock for 6 to 8 hours.

    Now remove the water and add only the soaked dal.

    Now,in the mixer jar add moong dal, saunf, ginger, carrot,green chilli and make a smooth paste.

    In the mixture Bowl,add moong dal paste, lemon juice, coriander leaves, chaat masala, ajwain, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.now add jowar flour and water to knead into soft dough,and rest for 10 minutes.

    After resting the dough, divide the dough into equally sized balls.and roll each ball.

    Heat tawa/pan,in medium heat, place a paratha in the tawa,dry fry on each side until a small blister is on the surface,then brush each side with oil or ghee and fry until cooked evenly and crispy.

    Serve hot with curd and /or pickle of your choice.
