Ingredients

  • ---Cornbread Chicken--------
  • 2 poundschicken breast boneless and skinless
  • 1 teaspoonseasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoongranulated garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonground black pepper
  • 2/3 cupbuttermilk cornbread mix, self-rising
  • ----sauce-------
  • 1 cupsour cream
  • 1/4 cupmayonnaise
  • 1-1/2 tablespoonred wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoondill weed
  • 1 cupcrumbled Bleu cheese
  • 1/4 cupchopped parsley flakes
  • to tasteseasoned salt
  • -oil------
  • as neededpeanut oil to medium fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil.

    Slice the chicken strips and season

    Fry into batches

    Turn as needed

    Move to paper towels to absorb excessive oils

    Repeat till all chicken is done

    Mix the Bleu cheese, parsley, dill weed, mayonnaise, and vinegar, and sour cream.
