Thank you so much for 400 reviews! Even though it's made with chicken breast, it has a wing-like flavor. It's boneless, making it easy to eat and perfect for lunchboxes. It's healthy because it's not fried.

Ingredients

About 2 servings

1 piecechicken breast
1 tablespoonpotato starch
Salt and pepper to taste
About 1/2 tablespoon white sesame seeds (optional)
1 tablespooncooking oil for frying
Seasoning A
1 1/2 tablespoonssoy sauce
2 tablespoonsmirin
1 tablespoonsake
1 tablespoonsugar

Steps

Slice the chicken breast diagonally into bite-sized pieces, then drizzle with 1/2 tablespoon of mirin and lightly massage with salt and pepper to season.

Coat the chicken from step 1 with potato starch, heat cooking oil in a frying pan, and place the chicken pieces with some space between them. Cook over medium heat until both sides are browned.

Remove excess oil from step 2 with a paper towel, add Seasoning A, and simmer over medium heat. Fry if you like.
* Use the remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons of mirin from step 1.

Add sesame seeds if you like.
