Mix the rice flour with water until smooth, being careful not to make it too runny.

Cut the fish sausage into cubes and add to the batter.

Thaw the mixed vegetables (either at room temperature or in the microwave), drain well, and add to the batter.

Gently mix the ingredients, then fry in oil until the surface is crispy.

For the kid-friendly dipping sauce:
Add water to the bonito flakes and microwave for about 3 minutes. Strain the bonito flakes, add soy sauce to the broth, and it's ready. Adults can use noodle dipping sauce if preferred.
