Lightly moisten the entire surface of the pork bun with a little water using your hand. Place it in a microwave-safe container (like a silicone steamer), and cover with a lid or plastic wrap.

[If using a room temperature pork bun]
Place the prepared bun in the microwave and heat at 600W for about 50 seconds. - 3
[If using a frozen pork bun]
Place the prepared bun in the microwave and heat at 600W for 1 minute 10–20 seconds. (Use a little more water than for a room temperature bun.) - 4
Adjust the heating time as needed based on the size and material of your microwave-safe container and the size of the pork bun.
