The origin of this recipe
I love chicken wings simply grilled with salt. I wanted to make them even more delicious, so I added a marinade, and they turned out amazing!

Ingredients

1.5 to 2 servings
  1. 8chicken wings
  2. Salt and pepper to taste (use generously)
  3. Marinade ingredients
  4. 1 teaspoonkombu tea
  5. 1-2 teaspoonsgrated garlic
  6. 1 tablespoonsake
  7. 1 tablespoonsesame oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Make cuts on both sides of the chicken wings. This helps them cook faster and absorb the flavors better.

  2. 2

Season both sides of the wings with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

Mix the ingredients marked with a circle (〇) in a plastic bag or similar container.

  4. 4

Add the chicken to the bag with the marinade and massage well. Once well combined, add sesame oil and massage again.

  5. 5

Ideally, let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

  6. 6

Grill over medium heat for about 15 minutes, checking occasionally.

  7. 7

You can also make this with thigh meat. It's delicious too! You can use a frying pan, but for crispy skin, grilling is best.

  8. 8

For drumettes, since they take longer to cook, open them up before grilling.

  9. 9

My friend Mi-chan says it's addictive, so I added that note. Thank you to everyone who loves this recipe!

  10. 10

At our house, we always make a big batch. Even my son can easily eat 5 pieces!
