Crack the eggs into a separate bowl and beat them.

Mix the flour and dashi powder together. Gradually add a small amount of water at first, stirring to avoid lumps, then slowly add the rest of the water while mixing until smooth.

Add the beaten eggs and soy sauce to the mixture, stir just until combined, and refrigerate. While the batter chills, prepare the octopus and other fillings (^^)
