Lightly flavored with curry, these make a perfect snack to go with drinks. This recipe was created as a tasty companion for my husband's shochu.

Thread 3 quail eggs onto each skewer.

In a cup, combine all the ingredients marked with ☆ (flour, curry powder, water, salt, and pepper) and mix well. Dip the skewered eggs into the mixture to coat thoroughly.

Coat the eggs with panko breadcrumbs. Fry in medium-hot oil until golden and crispy.

Serve on a plate with your favorite sauce on the side. I like to use Worcestershire sauce.
