As they say, when life gives you lemons...
My new oven blew a fuse on a self clean so, 3 of my 6 year old culinary students were forced to use my stove top and my grill this evening. I swear, their pork chops were beyond thick and juicy and their potatoes were so sweet and savory! Great photos, documentation and delicious work kiddos!

  3. as neededWorshestershire Sauce
  4. to tasteFresh Ground Black Pepper [a light dusting]
  5. to tasteGarlic Powder [a light dusting]
  6. to tasteOnion Powder [a light dusting]
  7. to tasteFresh Ground Cumin [a light dusting]
  8. ● For The Baby Russet Potatoes
  9. 2 PoundsBaby Golden Russet Potatoes [washed & halved]
  10. 1 tspHerbs de Provence [crushed]
  11. 2 tbspFine Minced Garlic
  12. 1/4 CupQuality White Wine [more if needed]
  13. 2 tbspQuality Garlic Olive Oil
  14. 1 CubeQuality Sweet & Salted Butter
  15. 1/2 tspFresh Ground Black Pepper
  16. 1 CupVidalia Onions [thick sliced]
  17. 1 CupRed Onions [thick sliced]
  18. 1/4 CupFresh Parsley [fine minced]
  19. to tasteSea Salt [a light sprinkle]
  20. ● For The Sides & Options
  21. Fresh Garden Salads
  22. Fresh Bread With Butter Or Garlic Oil

    Add everything in the Marinade section to pork chops and marinate for 2 hours in fridge.

    Add all ingredients in the Baby Russet Section in a large skillet and melt. Chop your potatoes in half and slice your onions. Place in pan - potatoes face down.

    Steam potatoes for 10 minutes tightly covered then, uncover and pan sear on high to create a nice char on your spuds.

    Grill pork chops for 3 minutes on each side at 450°. Get some good char on em' too!

    Place hot, juicy grilled chops on a Himalayan Salt Brick for additional flavor if possible.

    Garnish plate with parsley and serve with a fresh garden salad, bread and a great Chardonnay. Enjoy!
