Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  • 3 packsudon noodles
  • 3.5 oz (100 g)seafood mix
  • Bean sprouts, cabbage, garlic chives (nira), or other vegetables of your choice
  • 1 tablespoonfish sauce (such as Japanese fish sauce or anchovy sauce)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • as neededCooking oil,

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the vegetables into thin strips.

  2. 2

    Heat a frying pan, add oil, and stir-fry the chopped vegetables.

  3. 3

    Add the udon noodles and seafood mix. Add a little water and cook until heated through.

  4. 4

    Season with salt and pepper. Pour the fish sauce around the edge of the pan to bring out its aroma.

  5. 5

    Serve on a plate. Top with chopped nori, bonito flakes, or pickled ginger if desired.
