Ingredients

6 pieces
  1. 1 piece(about 4 oz) hanpen
  2. 4 sticks(about 1.4 oz) imitation crab sticks
  3. 1/2(about 2.8 oz) onion (grated)
  4. 2 tablespoonsmayonnaise
  5. 1/2 tablespoonmiso
  6. 1 tablespoonsugar
  7. as neededBreadcrumbs,

Steps

    Mix the seasonings together, then add the grated onion and mix well.

    Put the hanpen in a bag and mash it until smooth.

    Add finely chopped imitation crab sticks to the hanpen and mix well.

    Add the mixture from step 1 to the hanpen and crab mixture and mix thoroughly.

    Divide the mixture into 6 equal parts to make it easier to shape.

    Place the formed mixture on plastic wrap with breadcrumbs and roll to coat with breadcrumbs.

    Once all pieces are coated, they should look like this.

    Add about 1/2 inch of oil to a frying pan and fry the pieces until golden brown.

    Fry both sides until they are a nice golden brown, and they're done.
