Steps
- 1
Mix the tofu until it becomes a paste. Boil the cabbage and carrot, then chop finely. Cook the ground meat thoroughly.
- 2
In a bowl, combine the tofu mixture with the remaining ingredients. Using 1 tablespoon of flour will result in a softer texture.
- 3
Add salt or soy sauce and mix until smooth.
- 4
Place the mixture in a non-stick frying pan and cook on low heat for about 3 minutes until browned.
- 5
Flip and cook the other side for about 3 minutes until browned. If you're worried about it being undercooked, add 1/2 tablespoon of water, cover, and steam.
- 6
It's ready!
- 7
Wrap each serving in plastic wrap and freeze in a ziplock bag. To defrost, microwave at 600W for 20 seconds, flip, and heat for another 15 seconds until fluffy. Let it cool if it's too hot!
- 8
I love using the pre-portioned 50g packs of tofu from the 'Otoko Mae Tofu' series!
- 9
A spatula from the dollar store is handy for flipping!
