Ingredients

Serves 1 serving
  1. As much as you like (I used 2 small pieces) fried pork cutlet
  2. 1/4large onion, sliced
  3. 1egg
  4. 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  5. 1 teaspoonsugar
  6. 1 teaspoonbonito soup stock powder
  7. Nori (dried seaweed), as much as you like
  8. 1little green onion (finely chopped)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Place the sliced onion in a pot, add enough water to just cover, and bring to a boil.

  2. 2

Once boiling, reduce to medium heat and add the soy sauce, sugar, and bonito soup stock powder. Adjust the seasonings to taste.

  3. 3

Cut the pork cutlet into bite-sized pieces.

  4. 4

Add the cutlet to the pot and simmer until the broth reaches your desired amount.

  5. 5

Pour the beaten egg evenly over the top, cover the pot, and let it steam for a short time.

  6. 6

When the egg is cooked to your liking, turn off the heat.

  7. 7

Spoon cooked rice into a bowl, pour the contents of the pot over the rice, and top with green onion and nori if you like.
